Donate spring cleaning supplies during drive-by drop-off hosted by Naperville Sunrise Rotary

The Rotary Club of Naperville / Sunrise will host a Drive-By Drop-Off Spring Cleaning Supplies Drive for West Suburban Community Pantry early Friday morning April 23 in front of Naperville Country Club, 25W 570 Chicago Avenue.

Volunteers will receive donated items from 8-9:30AM.

“Because food stamps cannot be used to purchase any paper, cleaning or household items, we thought this was the perfect time to support the Pantry with Spring Cleaning supplies,” said Deb Newman, Rotary Community Service Committee Co-Chair. “Helping our neighbors make their houses feel fresh after the long winter is especially important this Spring, when COVID demand has made cleaning supplies expensive and hard to obtain.”

Suggested items to donate include Clorox/Lysol/alcohol wipes, hand soap, all-purpose cleaner, disinfectant spray, window cleaner, laundry detergent, floor cleaner, dish soap, toilet bowl cleaner, buckets and sponges.

Additional shelf-stable food items sought include rice, pancake mix and syrup, boxed potatoes, boxed dinners like Hamburger Helper or Macaroni & Cheese, and peanut butter and jelly.

All donations benefit the West Suburban Community Pantry, which serves 53,000 individuals per year throughout DuPage and Will Counties.
