Turning Pointe Autism Foundation: Challenges make us stronger

-

Obviously, this year has been an unprecedented time that has forced businesses and individuals alike to adjust to a completely different way of life. This especially impacts our autism population, individuals who already struggle with social issues in a “normal environment.”

While service industries and nonprofits have been hit especially hard due to the close contact nature of their services, they have been forced to innovate to continue to provide essential care and support to their community from both a financial and logistical standpoint.

I have been endlessly impressed and humbled throughout this year by our leadership and staff at Turning Pointe. They have continuously gone above and beyond to think of and implement new and extremely innovative ways to ensure that our students and families make it through this challenging time with as much support and as little disruption as humanly possible.

Their commitment and passion have made all of the difference to our students and families and I know I speak for our entire community in expressing my sincere gratitude for their unending dedication.

I hope that these challenges have only made us stronger and more prepared for a better 2021 and for providing even higher quality education and services for the future.
