Though you may not have seen our buses on the road for a while, we have been busy serving our participants and families virtually these past few weeks.
Yep! We have been doing what we do best… adapting to meet the needs of our participants and families!
Though not able to offer in-person programming since mid-March, we are thrilled to have found new ways to deliver social and recreational experiences to those who need it most. We have been filling the void with exciting virtual programs.
I am pleased to tell you that we are currently putting the final touches on an amazing virtual summer program season. There will be an expansion in the types of programs, number of programs and time slots. In addition, we are looking into ways to reach out to those whose abilities don’t allow them to engage virtually.
The full line-up of Virtual Summer programs will be posted on our website Wednesday, May 20. Programs will run from Monday, June 1 through Friday, June 26 for now. Registration will run from Tuesday, May 26 at 9AM. It will close Friday, May 29 at 5PM.
If you utilize inclusion services in park district programs, please check the Naperville Park District’s website for program updates as they become available.
Our goal is to be able to deliver traditional, in-person programs as soon as physically possible. Any future decisions will certainly be determined by the approach being phased in by the State of Illinois.
