As reported March 15, 2020, and ordered by the Illinois Governor, J.B. Pritzker, dine-in service at all Illinois restaurants and bars closed promptly at 9PM on March 16 and continue to be closed to patrons through March 30, 2020.

During this time, numerous restaurants in Naperville are offering customers curbside pick-up, drive-thru and delivery options. Visit Dine Naperville dot com to see which restaurants are offering these available services. The website will be continuously updated as we work directly with our restaurants.

“We already have 85 restaurants signed up to participate,” said Christine Jefferies, president of the Naperville Development Partnership / Convention & Visitors Bureau on March 17. “Just click on the image of the girl riding the scooter on our home page. We’ll be adding additional restaurants to the list as we hear from them.”

(A week later, Jeffries noted the number of participating restaurants, ice cream stores and sweet shops had grown to more than 140.)

For St. Patrick’s Day, Quigley’s Irish Pub is offering curbside service, too. “Lunch is beginning to die down a little,” said owner Nancy Quigley about 1PM. “Phones have been nonstop. Already orders are coming in for this evening.”

Quigley asks for calm and patience when trying to place an order at (630) 428-4774. “The phones have been really busy.”

Order early for dinners to be ready beginning at 5:30PM. Orders will be spaced to try to accommodate lines of vehicles.

Quigley’s Irish Pub is located at 43 E. Jefferson Ave.

“This is all new to us and we want to give the best service we can,” Quigley said. “And get this, Chuck Corrigan from the West Suburban Irish just called and asked us to give away a free Irish collectible scarf with every order while the supply lasts. We had a whole bunch left over since the St. Patrick’s Parade was canceled.”

(Update, March 18, 2020 / The staff at Quigley’s Irish Pub expressed appreciation to everyone who ordered to-go for curbside service from their St. Patrick’s Day menu. Without a take-out window, the pub now is closed until Fri., March 27, when curbside pick-up begins again. While the pub is taking a break, a few members of its dedicated staff are working inside on design and painting projects to better serve its many loyal patrons who look to return to enjoy Every Day at Quigley’s, aka EDAQ. Check out menu and other details at Quigley’s Irish Pub.)

Jeffries added, “Our team at Dine Naperville cares deeply about ensuring the health of our community members while also supporting our local restaurants.

“We appreciate the loyal support shown to our restaurants during this difficult time. Please stay safe and stay tuned for any additional updates to our Naperville restaurant community.”
