Naper Settlement’s 18th annual Wedding Showcase opens its doors on Saturday, January 18 from 10AM to 3PM to couples looking to make their special day one to remember.
The showcase will span several locations on Naper Settlement’s grounds, including the Pre-Emption House’s Tavern, Heritage Gallery, and Naper Gallery; and Century Memorial Chapel, a historic, nondenominational chapel available for ceremony rentals.
“Wedding planning can be overwhelming,” said Alaina Osslund, Naper Settlement’s guest services representative and showcase coordinator. “Naper Settlement’s Wedding Showcase is a great opportunity to meet with the best in the area and plan your wedding in a one-stop shop, stress-free.”
Meet 58 vendors serving the bridal business
The event will feature fifty-eight vendors from Chicago’s western suburbs, covering every niche of the bridal business, including make-up artists, caterers, venues, florists, and musicians. Brides and grooms will be able to have personal consultations with each vendor to plan their dream wedding.
“All our Wedding Showcase vendors are from Naperville and the surrounding suburbs, many of which are small businesses or franchises. It’s a benefit to have local area vendors exclusively at our Showcase because they’re very familiar with the area. For couples and families who value community ties, it’s a really personal touch for the special day,” added Osslund.
Guests are also eligible to win prizes from a drawing based on the number of vendors they visit. Prizes include a free engagement photography session, gift certificates, venue rental discounts, and more. Couples who pre-register for a free ticket receive one entry into an exclusive, pre-registrant-only drawing with a prize package valued over $1,000.
Wedding Showcase exhibitors include Fleur Couture, Greenstar Paperie, A La Folie, Harrison House Bed and Breakfast, Sweet Home Gelato, Emerson Creek Events, Jim Perona Guitar, Music by Design, Satin Chair, Alicia’s Photography, and more.
Wedding Showcase will take place at Naper Settlement, 523 S. Webster Street, Naperville, on January 18 from 10AM to 3PM. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call (630) 420-6010 or visit www.NaperSettlement.org/Weddings.
