Rotary Hill closed for sledding; Field of Honor flag takedown postponed due to snow

Due to winter weather conditions, organizers of the Field of Honor with 2,019 American flags have postponed the takedown of flags on Rotary Hill. The Park District is working with event organizers to monitor weather and Rotary Hill conditions to determine when conditions will allow flags to be taken down.

Flag pickup times reset until Saturday, November 16

In addition to the field takedown, flag pickup for purchased flags is also postponed.  Individuals and families who purchased flags may pick them up from the Riverwalk Café from 9AM to noon this Sat., Nov. 16.

No sledding down Rotary Hill while flags are up

Note that Rotary Hill is closed for sledding this week. Residents may check the Naperville Park District’s Weather Cancellation Tab at https://www.napervilleparks.org/cancellations for updates and for other sledding locations.
