NNHS Theatre’s “Romeo & Juliet” – 7PM | $5-$10. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students/seniors.

Romeo is looking for some distraction when he and his friends decide to crash a Capulet ball. There he meets Juliet and the two instantly fall in love. But when her hot-blooded cousin Tybalt finds out there were Montagues at the family party, he becomes furious in a way that can only end in bloodshed; setting in motion a chain of events that will leave a trail of blood and broken hearts in one of Shakespeare’s most renowned tragedies. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students/seniors. Continues at 7PM Saturday and 4PM Sunday. Tickets are available at www.nnhsarts.com or at the door.

Families are encouraged to come in costume and celebrate the colorful fall season during Pumpkin Palooza at DuPage Childrens Museum (DCM) on Saturday, October 26.. This family-favorite event includes musical performances, unique creation stations, Touch-A-Tractor, and more. Join the Naperville Junior Woman’s Club for our annual Trick or Treat at Safety Town. This fun family event is an annual tradition. Learn PUMPKINS safe trick or treat tips, and trick or treat on the town! Costumes encouraged, and bring a bag to put all your goodies in. Perfect for children ages 3-12, younger children are welcome to join us as well. Cost is $1 donation per child (benefiting Safety Town) and a non perishable food item (benefiting Loaves and Fishes) ADMISSION IS PAID AT THE DOOR!

The annual Fall Festival returns to Naperville Plaza from noon to 4PM Sat., Oct. 26.  Trick or Treat your way around Naperville Plaza! Find Busey Bank Sponsored Petting Zoo, Alfresco Photo booth opportunity (inside Oswald’s), Glitter tattoos & Coloring at Oswald’s Pharmacy. Visit from the Naperville Police & Fire Departments. Weather permitting, Casey’s Foods Naperville will be grilling out, too.

Be the first on your block to enter the 4th annual Pumpkin Race at Rotary Hill along the Riverwalk! Encourage friends and neighbors to enter the race, too. Calling all costumed characters, ghouls, goblins, witches and super heroes. Come Downtown Naperville to enjoy a great morning filled with fun and surprises (both candy and non-candy goodies)! Downtown businesses will be open early (at 10am) and will be handing out Halloween surprises! Free Trick or Treat Trolley rides too, in partnership with Naperville Trolley & Tours. Celebrate Halloween with the DuPage Symphony Orchestra as they once again join forces with the Naperville Youth Symphony Orchestra to bring you an imaginative and fun-filled family concert for Halloween, complete with costumes, crafts, storytelling, and vivid orchestral music. This years theme of Arabian Nights encompasses a wealth of enticing musical selections with a Middle-Eastern flair: from Carl Nielsens Aladdin, Modest Mussorgskys Khovantchina, Camille Saint-Sans Samson and Dalilah, and, of course, Rimsky-Korsakovs Scheherazade.
