DuPage County set to host ‘Complete Count’ Committee Meeting with U.S. Census Bureau

Wheaton – The DuPage County Board voted to create a DuPage Complete Count Committee on May 14, 2019, forming a special advisory group whose mandate is “to provide direction and advice to ensure an accurate 2020 census count of DuPage County residents.”

DuPage County Board Strategic Planning Committee Chairwoman Sadia Covert will chair the Complete Count Committee and District 5 Board Member Jim Healy, the longest-serving County Board Member, will serve as Vice-Chairman. The primary function of the advisory committee will be community outreach.

The first Complete Count Committee meeting will be held at the DuPage County campus on Tues., June 18. Representatives from the U.S. Census Bureau will provide a DuPage County training to optimize community outreach efforts.

The Complete Count Committee is comprised of DuPage County Board Chairman Dan Cronin, Committee Chairwoman Sadia Covert, Committee Vice-Chairman Jim Healy, local elected officials and community partners as well as U.S. Census Representatives.

The public meeting will be held from 1PM to 4PM Tues., June 18, 2019, in the Auditorium, JTK Administration Building, 421 N. County Farm Road, in Wheaton.
