Above / Sunshine and cool temperatures welcomed 2,200 runners to participate in the St. Paddy’s Day fun hosted by the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise right before the West Suburban Irish St. Patrick’s Parade in downtown Naperville.
Plenty of green—including attire, headgear and beer —welcomed revelers to the 9th Annual St. Paddy’s Day 5K run through Downtown Naperville on Sat., March 16, presented by The Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise and sponsored by Gerald Subaru.

Proceeds from the event will benefit two local organizations dedicated to youth and young adults. This year’s run will support KidsMatter’s efforts to help young people mitigate stress that can lead to depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol use and suicide. In addition, funds will help provide high school mentors to middle-schoolers at the Alive Center.
