It’s hard to think summer in Chicago in March. But at WDSRA, our heads are already filled with thoughts of sunshine, swimming and camp adventures. We want you to start thinking about summer now too.
Families are going to want to secure their child or teen’s spot at camp early to fill the summer with fun, friends and adventure. The WDSRA summer camp brochure is now online at www.wdsra.com. Program registration opens April 8 at 7AM. Be sure to register early as our camps fill up fast.
Among the many WDSRA regular programs offered in Naperville during the summer are several day camps. Parents can choose full day camp like Camp Quest or camps that follow summer school like District 203 Summer Spectacular, District 204 Camp TIA (Teens in Action) or Camp Fantastik. There are also extended camps and Friday Fieldtrips.
Summer job seekers need to apply now. We have to fill hundreds of part time staff positions to properly staff all of our summer camps and programs. We look for people who are enthusiastic, friendly and upbeat. Involvement with WDSRA programs requires enthusiasm, patience, commitment and dedication. Don’t have experience? Everyone, regardless of prior experience, is encouraged to apply. We train our part time staff for the roles and responsibilities that lie ahead of them.
WDSRA offers competitive wages based upon level of education and experience. Work schedules are flexible and you have the ability to design your own schedule. You should be able to commit to work the duration of the program season (usually 6-12 weeks). Applicants must be 16 years or older.
