Just imagine! It’ll be spring in one month! Take a Riverwalk stroll this weekend. (PN Photo Feb. 21, 2019)

The Naperville Riverwalk at Eagle Street… The winter view of the old limestone quarry from the Farmers Plaza along the Riverwalk reminds us that in one month it’ll be spring! The Cliff Preston Tribute, Jaycees Marina, Gregory Gazebo, Moser Tower and Rotary Hill provide a showcase of this city’s generosity in support of our natural treasure in the heart of town.

The snow fence delineating the area where sledding is the preferred recreation in the winter is expected to come down during spring break.

Enjoy the ever-changing sights and special amenities along the Riverwalk every day. Remember, too, that Naper Settlement is celebrating 50 years as the city’s outdoor history museum and plenty is new in shopping and dining throughout downtown Naperville where Dean’s Fine Men’s and Women’s Clothing has been opening its doors for 60 years!

‘The Producers’ – 3PM and 8PM | $36-$69
Paramount Theatre – 23 E. Galena Blvd Aurora, IL 60506
Under the right circumstances, a producer could make more money with a flop than he could with a hit. And so begins one of the most hilarious cons in musical theatre history. Max Bialystock used to be the king of Broadway, but after producing one too many flops, hes now just a has-been forced into seducing little old ladies for money. After an off the cuff comment from his accountant Leo Bloom, dollar signs go off over his head (as well as beautiful girls wearing nothing but pearls). With the reluctant help from Bloom, Max goes in search of the worst musical ever. Will it be a flop? It better, or they might find themselves in prison. The Producers is an uproariously funny musical with hilarious songs that will have you grinning from ear to ear throughout. Now showing Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through March 17, tickets at paramountaurora.com.

Sunday

Watch the 91st Academy Awards – 7PM ABC 7 Chicago

This year’s presentation of the Oscars will be the first Academy Awards ceremony in 30 years to go without a host. Perhaps without a host it’ll attract a bigger audience. The nominees for Best Picture are “Black Panther,” “BlacKkKlansman,” “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “The Favourite,” “Green Book,” “Roma,” “A Star Is Born,” and “Vice.” Considering 10 Oscar nominations for the “The Favourite,” will it be the favorite?
