Update, April 26, 2021, Updated / Here’s a reminder regarding the ensuing deadline to apply to be included in the “Bake Sale” raffle for the 2021 season of Municipal Band Concerts in Central Park. Concerts begin at 7:30PM and performances typically are over between 8:30 and 9PM. Pies always are popular!
Simply include the nonprofit organization’s name, a brief explanation of its purpose, and the contact information for the organization’s president or concert bake sale chairperson.
Individuals may send a paper application letter by May 10, 2021, to: Concert Bake Sale Chairperson, Naperville Municipal Band, P.O. Box 474, Naperville, IL 60566.

Original Post, March 30, 2021 / The Naperville Municipal Band is now accepting application letters for concert bake sale sponsors for the band concerts in Central Park this summer. For 2021, concerts will be held at 7:30PM on Thursdays from June 10 through Aug. 19, 2021. Any nonprofit organization serving the Naperville community is eligible to apply.
To apply, kindly fill out the Google form by clicking here, follow prompts and provide the organization’s name, a brief explanation of its purpose, and the contact information for the organization’s president or concert bake sale chairperson.
If preferred, individuals may send a paper application letter to: Concert Bake Sale Chairperson, Naperville Municipal Band, P.O. Box 474, Naperville, IL 60566.

Applications to host NMB Bake Sale due April 30, 2021
To be eligible for the lottery, all applications (online or paper) must be received by Fri., April 30, 2021.
Note also that organizers of the lottery request that if there are any Thursday evenings during the summer that your group will not be able to sponsor a bake sale because of other commitments, kindly include that in the application letter.

A few notes about the Naperville Municipal Band
The Naperville Municipal Band was established in 1859. With the Community Concert Center in Naperville’s Central Park as its home base, the band has entertained thousands of listeners most every summer during its free weekly outdoor concerts.
When outdoor season was canceled in 2020 because of the pandemic, concert practices were set up on the lawn in Central Park. And the band played on!
For 2021, indoor winter and spring concerts were canceled.
The Naperville Municipal Band looks forward to kick off its 162nd year on June 10, 2021, outdoors in Central Park, located in the heart of the City, just steps from downtown Naperville.
