The Naperville Municipal Band is now accepting application letters for concert bake sale sponsors for the band concerts in Central Park this summer. Concerts are held at 7:30PM on Thursdays from June 6 through Aug. 15, 2019. Any nonprofit organization serving the Naperville community is eligible to apply. 

The applicant’s letter should include the organization’s name and a brief explanation of its purpose, in addition to the name, address, email address and telephone number of the organization’s president or concert bake sale chairperson. 

Application letters must be received by Monday, March 4, 2019, to be eligible for the lottery. Winning applicants will be notified in the spring.

The Naperville Municipal Band was established in 1859. With the Community Concert Center in Naperville’s Central Park as its home base, the band entertains thousands of listeners every summer during its free weekly outdoor concerts, in addition to free fall, winter and spring indoor concerts.

The next indoor Winter Concert begins at 3PM Sun., Feb. 17, on stage at the Wentz Concert Hall in the North Central College Fine Arts Center to kick off the band’s 160th year celebration!
