From 6 to 9PM Fri., Nov. 9, the public is welcome to a new indoor exhibit that will open with a variety of original work by Century Walk Artists in the Schoenherr Art Gallery. Hello Dolly without the music! Fun, silly & cheaper than Broadway! In Thornton Wilders classic The Matchmaker- adapted to the Tony-winning musical Hello, Dolly! – Horace Vandergelder, a wealthy merchant in Yonkers, New York, employs matchmaker Mrs. Dolly Levi in his search for a wife. Dolly quickly becomes involved with Vandergelders two clerks, several lovely ladies, and the headwaiter at New York’s Harmonia Gardens restaurant. This farce races to its hilarious conclusion as these relationships struggle to sort themselves out. For 2018, the annual Veterans Day Concert will be performed at 3PM Sun., Nov. 11, on stage at Wentz Concert Hall in the North Central College Fine Art Center, located at 171 E. Chicago Ave. The concert is free of admission charge. A special collection in the lobby will accept items for Comfort and Care Packages for Operation Support Our Troops America.
