To kick off the spirit of Thanksgiving, Dog Patch Pet and Feed will host its third Adoption Reunion in the last eight years from 1 to 4PM on Sat., Nov. 3. This dog-and-cat-friendly event is a chance to express our appreciation to everyone who has provided one of our adoptable pets with a forever home.
It’s a bit of an undertaking, so we don’t do it every year. Our last reunion was in 2016. That day, between 150-200 dogs came with their people. Many dogs rediscovered their littermates. We even had a few cats drop by.
For 2018, our Adoption Reunion will have seminars, games and many photo opportunities. In addition, pet treats and human treats will be served.
Even more, the event will feature seasonal bargains, vendor representatives with the latest news in pet products and much more.
Established in 1972, longtime and faithful customers know us as “Naperville’s original pet store” in the yellow brick building, located at 1108 E. Ogden Ave.
We’re always happy to acquaint new customers with our business model and how we aim to find forever homes for our rescue dogs.
We’re also picky. We recommend giving gift certificates to future pet owners so they personally can pick out the perfect companion when they visit our store— a pet that connects with them.
Holiday gifts are arriving. Our small and large bags of wild bird seed are ready to go to help you fill your backyard feeders all winter. Our annual wild bird seed sale runs all during November. Senior citizens always receive a discount. (Just be sure to tell us you’re a senior.)
