Fall Festival is set for Saturday at Naperville Plaza

According to Mary Jane Leisten, all the favorite fall activities will return at Busey Bank, Oswald’s Pharmacy and Casey’s Foods. Plan to come in costume, collect treats and help celebrate independent businesses that have created a friendly and enchanting destination in the heart of Naperville.

Original Post, Oct. 26, 2017 / The 6th Annual Naperville Plaza Fall Festival will be held from 2PM to 6PM on Sat., Oct. 28, at Naperville Plaza.

Families are encouraged to come in costume, just for the fun of it.

Then the question is, will costumed visitors choose to be tricked into visiting First Dracula Community Blood Bank or Ghostwald’s Scare Mart Pharmacy or Peterson Spirits Mummies & Spiders?

Hosted by folks from First Community Financial Bank >>> Busey Bank, the Petting Zoo has become a popular attraction at the annual Naperville Plaza Fall Festival.

With trick or treat opportunities, rain or shine, families with youngsters in Halloween costumes will delight in scheduled entertainment throughout the popular shopping destination, all protected by the overhang the helps keeps the sidewalks dry and spirits bright in the event of inclement weather.

A Petting Zoo hosted by First Community Financial Bank >>>Busey Bank returns where kids can get up close and personal to many animals they likely don’t have a home.

Casey’s Grilling will offer luncheon fare for purchase outside on the patio.

Inside, Casey’s Foods will have an in-store seasonal displays and its popular Saturday specials at the meat counter.

Step inside Oswald’s Pharmacy where youngsters will be greeted with creative activities amid seasonal decorations. Costumed Halloweeners might even have a chance to meet owner Bill Anderson who likely could share a tale or two about the days when he dressed up to trick or treat in Naperville.

What’s more, members of the Naperville Jaycees will announce the winner of last week’s Hack the Jack Pumpkin Contest.

As the autumn event has grown, families can count on thoughtful treats and activities where youngsters can have fun while learning valuable tips on why shopping locally is a good thing.

Beyond the activities this Halloween weekend, Naperville Plaza is a popular shopping destination featuring many independent merchants, located on the southwest corner at Washington and Gartner.
