Find a warm welcome and great company at Mesón Sabika during the all-day special benefit for the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Efforts. Hossein Jamali also reminds diners that 100 percent of the day’s receipts will be donated and matched up to $10,000 by the Rotary Club of Naperville. And we say thanks, Mesón Sabika, and to everyone for your generosity! For reservations, call (630) 983-3000.

The entire world watched how Hurricane Florence devastated North Carolina and South Carolina, followed by the rage of Hurricane Michael, now recognized as the third-most intense Atlantic hurricane to make landfall along the East Coast in the United States. In fact, the recent natural disasters occurring throughout the world have been so destructive that many families don’t even know ways to seek help.

In an effort to provide assistance from afar, Mesón Sabika is stepping up with an opportunity for the community to invite friends and family to join their efforts to raise funds for those impacted. The Spanish tapas restaurant will donate 100 percent of sales to the American Red Cross when individuals, couples and families dine at the restaurant for lunch or dinner on Tues., Oct. 23.

The restaurant will be open from 11:30AM to 10PM that Tuesday.

Organizers said a member of the American Red Cross of Chicago & Northern Illinois will be present to answer questions from interested parties.

Reservations for lunch or dinner on Tues., Oct. 23 are now being accepted and can be made online at mesonsabika.com or by calling (630) 983-3000.

Mesón Sabika is located at 1025 Aurora Avenue.

Mesón Sabika fundraising makes a difference

When a natural disaster happens, Mesón Sabika often has partnered with the American Red Cross so the nonprofit humanitarian organization efficiently can provide shelter, food and emotional support to victims of disasters.

According to the Red Cross website that always lists its current focus in the wake of a disaster, “The Red Cross supplies about 40 percent of the nation’s blood; teaches skills that save lives; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families.”

The Red Cross depends on trained and certified volunteers and the generosity of the American public while it’s also known to collaborate with other humanitarian organizations such as the Salvation Army in order to perform its mission.

Mesón Sabika, located just west of downtown Naperville, has been serving the community since 1990.

Whether you dine in one of the mansion’s eight dining rooms decorated in traditional Spanish décor; attend a fundraiser, wedding or corporate event in the Pavilion or sit on the spacious patio; the cuisine of Spain and delicious drinks create an unparalleled dining experience in the lovely historic setting.
