Chicago Steel Hockey Team – Preseason Game No. 2 – 7:05PM | $10

Join the Chicago Steel Hockey Team for their second (and last) home pre-season game of the 2018-2019 season at the Fox Valley Ice Arena in Geneva. Enjoy fast-paced family fun, and see the future stars of college and pro hockey! All blue, white and red zone tickets for Steel pre-season home games will be just $10. Plus, parking is always free. Come watch the top rising hockey stars in the world up-close with affordable seats right on the glass in the Central Illinois Flying Aces vs. Chicago Steel match up. Puck drops at 7:05PM on Friday, September 21 at the Fox Valley Ice Arena in Geneva. All regular season single-game tickets are also now on sale for the 2018-2019 season. Naperville Farmer’s Market – 7AM-noon | Free Admission, $ for Items
5th Avenue Station – 200 E 5th Ave, Naperville, IL 60563
The Naperville Farmer’s Market is a rain/shine event that is held every Saturday starting June 2 and ending October 27 in the parking lot of 5th Avenue Station. This is a pet-free market. Over 25 vendors that offer anything from produce, to meat, to flowers, along with hot coffee.

Turning Pointe Birdhouse Show & Sale – 10AM-4PM | Free Admission
Turning Pointe Autism Foundation – 1500 West Ogden Avenue Naperville, IL 60563
Turning Pointe Autism Foundation will host a Birdhouse Show at 1500 West Ogden Avenue. All proceeds from this sale of beautiful and sturdy birdhouses handcrafted by students with the inspiration of bird-lover Marcia Lamoureux will go toward student programming. 

Harvest Pow Wow – 11AM-10PM | Adults $12, Seniors 62+ $9, Children 3-12 $7. Kids under 3 free.

24th Annual Midwest SOARRING Foundation Harvest Pow Wow is set at Naper Settlement, rain or shine, the largest of Midwest SOARRING Foundations pow wows. All are welcome at the family fun event. Pow wows are a time to celebrate life, renew friendships, and showcase Native American culture. Enjoy dancing, drumming, cultural demonstrations, craft and food vendors, raffles, children’s crafts and much more. Grand Entry at 1PM and 7PM on Saturday and 1PM on Sunday. Special Veterans honoring at early Grand Entries at 1PM Saturday. Bring lawn chairs. No alcohol or drugs allowed. Sorry, no pets. The Harvest Pow Wow is partially supported by a SECA grant from the City of Naperville. Harvest Pow Wow continues from 11AM to 5PM on Sunday.

North Central College welcomes the Chicago Sinfonietta “ID: Images of Diversity” at 8PM on Saturday, Sept. 22 in Wentz Concert Hall at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave. The stories and traditions of those who arrived in this country are the threads that make our cultural tapestry so vibrant.
