Quigley’s Irish Pub selects new slogan to mark 20th birthday

-

‘Come for the beer, stay for the cheer!’

UPDATE, Sept. 24, 2018 / According to General Manager/Owner Michele Michael, Quigley’s Irish Pub has a new slogan that will be emblazoned on t-shirts to celebrate the first 20 years of the popular Irish eatery in downtown Naperville.

“Yes. We have a winner,” Michael said Monday afternoon.

“My mother and I decided yesterday,” Michael added, noting a great response of entries and a tough call.

“The winning slogan is ‘Come for the beer, stay for the cheer’ and it came from Ben H.,” Michael added.

Ben H. will receive two t-shirts and a $50 gift card for Quigley’s. The 20th anniversary celebration is slated for Sat., Nov. 17. Save the date.

Since it’s Monday, try this slogan today: ‘Come for the burger and ask for a server!’

Every Day at Quigley’s, or “EDAQ” for short, is the name for a popular group of regulars that gathers for a pint, a burger and fun conversation where everybody knows their name.

You might say there also are groups known for “Every Monday at Quigley’s” or “EMAQ, folks who start the week every Monday with $5 Burger Night at Quigley’s Irish Pub.  Friends come to build a better Angus burger with a variety of available toppings and cheeses, priced accordingly. Pick a room, any room, where you can push tables together. From the Cigar Room (It’s just a name. No smoking at Quigley’s!) to the Cottage Room, receive a warm welcome and get together with friends.

Monday also is when a kid can eat free with one paying adult and two kids can eat free with two paying adults, compliments of Quigley’s.

Memories Made at Quigley’s / MMAQ

From left, Bob Beyer, Nancy Quigley, Rick Feketitsch, Stacey Abe, linda Feketitsch, Patrick Feketitsch and Pat Bowler attracted plenty of onlookers one St. Patrick’s Day as they tried to get Flynn, Charlie, Baxter, Murphy, Milo, Stockton and Murphy-the-elder to sit still for a photo that could be used for a pot of goldens. As the pub wraps up its first 20 memorable years, owners welcome a new slogan for Quigley’s!
