The City of Naperville is hosting a public meeting to present potential improvements to the intersection of 95th Street and Book Road from 5 to 7PM on Thursday, September 20 at the 95th Street Library, 3015 Cedar Glade Drive.
The purpose of the meeting will be to present alternatives for improvements and to review preliminary impacts and costs, as well as seek public input on the alternatives under consideration. City staff and the project team will be available to answer questions during the two-hour meeting, which will be run as an open house.
The City has identified the need for improvements at this intersection that will increase safety, reduce delay and improve operations. Preliminary engineering to assess existing conditions and determine optimal improvements is taking place throughout 2018. Construction is currently planned for 2021.
For those who cannot attend the September 20 public meeting, exhibits and displays will be posted to the City’s website and comments on the proposed improvements will be accepted through Thursday, October 4. Email Project Engineer Kelly Dunne at dunnek@naperville.il.us with any feedback. All comments received prior to 5PM on October 4 will be considered part of the public record.
