Food trucks are rolling into Naperville. Ten of the area’s most sought after food trucks will be dishing up their fan favorites at the WDSRA Food Truck Festival from 3-6PM on Sunday, September 30 at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion.
This event is all about food, music and fun. Besides dishing up everything from spicy empanadas to gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, country band Strawdawg will take the stage to perform your favorite country hits. And for the kids, we have them covered too. There will be inflatables to run, jump and slide on as well as face painting and the playground. All of this adds up to one fantastic afternoon of family fun.
We are inviting the whole community. Let me share an insider tip with you… register online ahead of time for early entry. That’s right. You can get to all the food trucks before the general population simply by registering at www.wdsra.com by September 27. You’ll receive early admission at 2:30PM. This gives you a fast track to your favorite food trucks.
You may be wondering why a food truck event for WDSRA. We think this is the perfect way to thank everyone who supports WDSRA’s community-based recreation for individuals with special needs. It is a thank you to the amazing people who open their hearts to families with special needs every day. And we want you to be a part of it.
The event takes place Sunday, September 30th, 3-6PM at the Riverwalk Grand Pavilion, 912 Sindt Ct., Naperville (in back of the Centennial Beach parking lot). Food Trucks include: Chuck’s Wood Fired Pizza, Cupcakes for Courage, Gnarly Knots, Grumpy Gaucho, Misericordia Bakery Truck, Perk N’ Pickle, Roaming Hog and Toasty Cheese. Admission is $2/person.
