Witch way to go?
To stay true to its founding ideals of philanthropy and culture, members of the Naperville Woman’s Club have conjured up another Witches Night Out Naperville, designed as a fundraiser to sweep guests off their feet with good spirits and curious wonder throughout historic Naper Settlement.
What’s a witch to do?
Many enchanting choices are planned during the 2nd Annual Witches Night Out Naperville. Whether ghost stories, music and dancing, mansion tours, psychic readings, bewitching raffle baskets, a witch’s bazaar, a costume contest (Yes, exhibit your inner “Witch” by dressing the part for the evening.), a photo booth, food (lots of food!) or drinks, plenty of charming attractions are sure to entertain.
“And new this year there will be a spectacular witch’s dance,” said publicist Donna Shaw, also NWC president this year.
The spirited autumn event is slated from 4:30 until 9:30PM on Thurs., Oct. 11, throughout the 12-acre outdoor history village comprised of a collection of thirty 19th-century structures that bring the city’s past to life, right in the heart of downtown.
“Witches Night Out Naperville is ‘The Philanthropic Event of the Season’,” said Sandy Baker McKeon, co-chair of 2018 benefit.
“Proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to SamaraCare Counseling and other NWC philanthropic endeavors.”
Benefit for SamaraCare and More
For some women, making choices can be a major challenge. Decisions become overwhelming for those with a mental illness. SamaraCare Counseling provides services to kids, teens, and adults, Baker McKeon added.
By attending Witches Night Out Naperville, all guests will help SamaraCare clients overcome obstacles they face daily.
So… Witch way will you go? Organizers hope to see women dressed for the occasion at Witches Night Out Naperville stirring the pot to support SamaraCare and other Naperville Woman’s Club philanthropic endeavors.
