Naper Nights kicks off this weekend at Naper Settlement. Naper Nights is a three weekend concert series celebrating the history of rock across June, July, and August. Tribute bands from across the country play classics from the 60s to today over six nights.
The concerts on June 15 and 16 will feature a range of classic American to folk inspired rock. Friday’s lineup includes Wall of Denial, a Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute, and The Pettybreakers, a Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers tribute. Saturday will showcase the music of Tom Thumb’s Band, a Bob Dylan tribute, and Old Shoe featuring Low Down Brass Band Horns, a Paul Simon tribute. Each night, students from the local School of Rock program will kick off the concert.
There will be a variety of summertime eats, including vegetarian options, offered from vendors Sharko’s BBQ, John’s Rib House, Chick-fil-A, and more. Wine and beer selections will be available from Rodney Strong Vineyards and Bell’s Brewing. Children’s activities from Pinot’s Palette, PRO Martial Arts, Legoland Discovery Center, and more will also be on site.
Each night, all tips collected at the beverage tent benefit a local organization. Tips on Friday benefit the Kyle Zuleg Foundation and Saturday’s tips will go to A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter.
The concert kicks off each night at 5PM. Tickets are $15 adult, $10 youth. Members and children under 4 are free. For tickets and info, visit NaperNights.org.
