Growing up in the 1970s, I used to love hearing Richard Dawson utter these three words on ABC’s popular daytime game show, “Family Feud.” Watching the two families compete against each other by guessing the most popular answers to questions such as, “Name the hour that you get up on Sunday mornings,” was good, wholesome TV entertainment. I loved finding out what the poll of 100 people had given as their answers.
This month Naperville Community Television is looking for you to be part of our ‘poll’ so we can answer the question: “the survey says…” And we’re hoping a lot more than 100 people give us the benefit of their input!
“In these times of 24 hour news cycle it is important to understand how residents want to receive information about the community where they live,” said NCTV17 Executive Director, Liz Spencer, “Your feedback is critical to ensuring we understand the impact we can have moving forward.”
Our quick survey can be completed online at NCTV17.com/survey. It takes less than two minutes to answer all the questions. We simply want to know what information is important to you, how you access local news and your experiences with NCTV17. It is a check-the-box format with a place to provide some additional comments at the end. The survey is 100 percent anonymous. You will not be asked to provide your name so your responses are confidential.
We also encourage you to share the survey with family and friends. The more people that complete the survey, the more reliable the information, which in turn helps NCTV17 to better meet the needs of the community in the future.
So play along with me and help your local television station find out the most popular answers to our questions!
