The Tony award winning musical 42nd Street comes to Naperville North bringing 1930s costumes and lots of glorious tapping. 42nd Street tells the story of Peggy Sawyer, a talented young performer with stars in her eyes who gets her big break on Broadway. 42nd Street is full of crowd-pleasing tap dances, popular musical theatre standards, and show-stopping ensemble production numbers. Showtimes are April 25, 26, 27, 28 at 7PM and April 28 & 29 at 2PM. Tickets range $10-$16 for reserved seats. All seats are reserved and available at www.nnhsarts.com.
 
Neuqua presents “Joseph & The Amazing Dreamcoat” – 7PM | $7-$11. Tickets at www.NVHStheatre.com
Neuqua Valley High School – 2360 95th Street Naperville, IL 60564
Neuqua Valley’s Coat of Many Colors. Neuqua is proud to be producing “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber. The story is based on the “coat of many colors” tale of Joseph from the Book of Genesis. this classic musical has little spoken dialogue and is almost entirely sung, which has made for a fun artistic challenge. Joseph is family friendly story that will have audience members dancing from their seats. Show Dates: April 26-28 at 7PM. Tickets: $7 for Students and Seniors, $11 for adults. National Prescription Drug Take Back Day – All Day – Every Day
Naperville Fire Stations & Police Station – Eleven Locations throughout Naperville 
April 28 is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, but every day in Naperville aims to provide a safe and convenient location to drop off prescription drugs at public safety facilities. Today is an extra reminder to check medicine cabinets and always dispose of expired, unused and unwanted prescriptions as well as over-the-counter drugs. Help prevent medication from ending up in the wrong hands. Help save lives. Since 2014, Naperville has promoted 11 drop-off locations.

Naperville again will host its annual Arbor Day Tree sale when hundreds of container grown trees will be available. The sale will be from 8AM to noon on Sat., April 28, at the Public Works Service Center, 180 Fort Hill Drive at Jefferson Avenue. Payment accepted is by cash or checks payable to the City of Naperville. 

Did you know? Naperville has been named a Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation for 28 consecutive years thanks to its work to develop a thriving urban forest. This Tree City joins more than 3,400 communities that are recognized with the distinction throughout the nation.

The Naperville Chorus will present its Spring Concert at 7:30PM on Saturday, April 28 in Wentz Concert Hall at 171 E. Chicago in Naperville on the campus of North Central College. The Spring Concert of Royal Music will be music commissioned by and for Royalty. The Coronation Mass by Wolfgang A. Mozart was a favorite at state occasions in the 19th century and was often used for coronations. Dettingen Te Deum was written by George F. Handel to express thanks to God (the meaning of Te Deum) for a victory by King George II in Dettingen,France. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors/students.
