On Friday, February 9, 2018, at approximately 5PM, Naperville Police Officers responded to the 1600 Block of Ada Lane (West Wind Subdivision) for a burglary in progress. Naperville Officers located one suspect on foot and 3 suspects in a vehicle in the area.
The below four suspects were charged as follows:
Antonio Valladares, Male 18, of the 2400 Block of Christina Ave, Chicago. Charged with Attempt Residential Burglary, Criminal Trespass to Land and Possession False Social Security Card. Valladares was transported to the DuPage County Jail.
Male Youth, 16, of Chicago, Transported to The DuPage County Youth Home, charged with Attempt Residential Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools and Criminal Trespass to Land.
Female Youth, 14, of Chicago, Released to Parents, charged with Attempt Residential Burglary.
Male Youth, 16, of Chicago, Transported to the DuPage County Youth Home, charged with No Valid Drivers License, Failure to Yield to Emergency Vehicle, Failure to Yield at Intersection, Possession less than 10 Grams Cannabis and Aggravated Assault to Police Officer.
The Naperville Police wish to remind the public and the news media that a charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
