Chocolate Walk returns to downtown Naperville on Feb. 10

-

Above / The 3rd Annual Chocolate Walk is sure to be another showcase of how sweet it can be to shop, dine and entertain in downtown Naperville.

It’s time to reserve a shiny red tin for 3rd Annual Chocolate Walk, hosted by 360 Youth Services in partnership with the Downtown Naperville Alliance. Sure to satisfy any sweet tooth, folks are welcome to tour the Chocolate Walk, slated from noon to 5PM on Sat., Feb. 10, throughout downtown Naperville.

The annual event that replaced the Chocolate Festival several years ago is set to heighten awareness about the work accomplished by 360 Youth Services for the past 46 years.  Begun in 1971 when a group of concerned parents, community and religious leaders recognized the need for professional, youth-centered services in the Naperville community, the nonprofit organization has evolved with the times. Originally known as Naperville Community Outreach, then NCO Youth & Family Services, the agency now encompasses much more as 360 Youth Services.

With an eye out for chocolate-shaped kisses, turtles and hearts, attendees will receive a commemorative souvenir Chocolate Tin to collect tasty treats. The tin comes with a map featuring the downtown Naperville participating shops and restaurants where the chocolate experience may come with chocolate surprises.

And to sweeten the afternoon festivities, folks can purchase a Golden Raffle Ticket. For an additional $20 per ticket, participants will have a chance to be one of five winners for great prizes. Winners will be announced during the Chocolate Walk.

The 360 Youth Services Chocolate Walk is also a way to celebrate Valentine’s Day a few days early by putting your heart into the support of one of Naperville’s many local social services providing unmet needs for the community.

360 Youth Services Administrative Offices are located at 1305 W. Oswego Road in Naperville. For information about services, housing programs, mentoring and upcoming events, visit www.360youthservices.org.
