It’s 2018 and we embark on another year in business. This will be Dog Patch’s 47th year. We look to lead the community in rescue adoptions. We continue to prove that rescue and pet store are not mutually exclusive terms. This year we placed over 450 dogs and 48 cats.
We took a hit last summer with all of the Ogden Avenue construction. In an effort to get our mojo back, we will be evaluating what we do and how we do it. It’s important that we not only keep up with the times, but continue to lead and innovate in our industry, all the while providing personal service and products our customers say they appreciate.
We already have brought in some new and exciting dog and cat foods. We’re evaluating more and will bring them in as we make space.
We’ve been selling hemp CBD oils and biscuits at a great pace. They help with anxiety, pain and loss of appetite. It seems like we are ordering weekly. Once it’s clear that a product like this works, we do more and more research to find the best possible product at the absolute best price. All three of my dogs are taking the oil. One for anxiety and the others for arthritic issues. I’m very happy with the results.
Here’s to a prosperous January and the rest of the year.
