The New Horizons Band of DuPage and its ensembles (Brass Choir, German Band, Jazz Band, Woodwind Consort, NHB Too) will each perform selections of Holiday favorites. Refreshments follow the performance. The groups consist of musicians 50 and over from Chicago and the surrounding suburbs under the direction of Maryann Flock. Naperville Muncipal Band Holiday Concert -3PM | Free
Wentz Concert Hall – 171 E Chicago Ave., Naperville, IL 60540 
The Naperville Municpal Band will perform its annual Holiday Concert at Wentz Concert Hall on the campus of North Central College at 3PM. The concert is free to the public. This year the concert is dedicated to raising awareness about Loaves & Fishes Community Services.  Donations of nonperishable items will be collected to help fill the unmet needs of the less fortunate during the holidays.

Remind folks to shop locally everywhere!

Keep all the folks in Texas, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and Puerto Rico in your thoughts and prayers for safe keeping and a speedy recovery during the holidays. This past season has been deluged with natural disasters from hurricanes in the Atlantic to wildfires that continue in California.

 

Looking toward the future of volunteerism,  The Salvation Army offers free volunteer training for folks available to help in the wake of disasters.

Last month Salvation Army bells began ringing all over town. Again, many thanks for giving when you can!

Thanks to everyone, all ages, for stepping up with generous hearts to help raise funds for hurricane relief, first responders and other unmet needs.
