CRUST
- 1 C. Flour
- 1/2 C. Brown Sugar, packed
- 1/3 C. Margarine, (not spread, Land O Lakes preferred)
- 1/2 C Chopped Walnuts or Pecans
FILLING
- 1 8 oz. Package Cream Cheese
- 1/4 C. Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
- 2 Tbsp. Milk
- 1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
METHOD
- Mix first 3 ingredients together, stir in nuts. Reserve 1 cup for topping.
- Press remaining mixture into greased “8” or “9” baking pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes, or lightly browned.
- Combine all filling ingredients, beat together until smooth.
- Spread over hot partially baked crust, sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture topping.
- Bake an additional 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Cool and cut into 25-30 portions.
