Photo Gallery: Little Friends Parade of Lights 2017

-

The Little Friends Parade of Lights stepped off on Saturday, December 2. The popular annual holiday parade and tradition is produced by Little Friends in partnership with the Downtown Naperville Alliance.  This year’s parade was narrated by City Councilman Kevin Coyne and DNA Executive Director Katie Wood.

Thousands of spectators lined Jackson Avenue and Main Street to watch the showcase of community spirit with brightly illuminated floats and holiday-themed musical entertainment. Youngsters always are very good as they anticipate an appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus – traveling all the way from the North Pole, organizers said.

Ho! Ho! Ho! And happy holidays!

PN Ombudsman
An ombudsman is Scandinavian in origin dating back to Viking times; and refers to a community representative; usually acting independently on behalf of an organization, body of elected officials, or civic group. Thanks Scandinavia for inventing ombudsman.
