Winter Wonderland will be staged Dec. 10

-

The School of Performing Arts will present Winter Wonderland, a special adaptation of A&A BALLET’s world-premiere production of Alexei Kremnev’s Nutcracker, during two performances on Sun., Dec. 10, at North Central College’s Madden Theatre, 171 Chicago Ave.

A 45-minute performance filled with colorful excerpts from Kremnev’s stunning rendition of the holiday classic, Winter Wonderland is a perfect introduction for young audiences to classical ballet and one of the season’s most cherished traditions.

Featuring the world-class dancing, breathtaking sets and spectacular costumes showcased in the downtown premiere of A&A BALLET’s Nutcracker, Winter Wonderland concludes with a photo opportunity with the Sugar Plum Fairy herself, and an arts and crafts station where children can make their very own keepsake picture frame. At a budget-friendly cost of $10 for children and $20 for adults,Winter Wonderland performances are set for 3PM and 5PM.

Celebrating its 27th year on the heels of multiple milestones, from the relocation and expansion of its main Naperville campus, to the opening of a studio in downtown Chicago, and highly-publicized collaboration with A&A BALLET, The School of Performing Arts is delighted to bring this special adaptation of Alexei Kremnev’s Nutcracker to the Naperville community.
