Lizzy’s Fund is a 501(c)(3) Naperville public charity which benefits senior dogs, aged 7 and older, in shelters and rescues. Over 200 senior canines have received financial support from the Fund, allowing them to get healthy and therefore be able to find their forever homes. This support includes veterinary, surgical, dental, grooming, and alternative medical care that these seasoned pooches deserve.
Once healthy, these dogs challenge even the cutest puppy for a spot in a family’s home as they are a known (what you see is what you get), are housebroken, and are calmer than a new puppy.
Lizzy’s Fund has been featured on NCTV17’s Spotlight.
Through December, there is a 100 percent Matching Fund Drive underway. All contributions are used for direct expenses of senior dogs.
