Update, June 24, 2020 / At 6:34:44PM Wed., June 24, the Rotary Club of Naperville-Downtown virtually will host its annual Installation Dinner, catered via curbside delivery by Meson Sabika.

In addition to installing Kevin McQuillan, returning as the “4:44 Rotary Club” president and board members to serve during the Rotary year from July 1 through June 30, 2021; the “4:44 Rotary,” now in its 13th year, has the honor of hosting the Installation of Rotary District 6450 Governor and board members. Rotarian Chuck Corrigan, featured below, will become Rotary 6450 District Governor, recorded on Zoom.

Original Post, Nov. 21, 2017 / The Rotary District 6450 Board of Directors announced this week that Naperville resident Charles J. “Chuck” Corrigan has been named Rotary International District 6450 Governor Designate (2020-2021), joining the ranks of dedicated men and women who embrace the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self.”

“Our very own Chuck Corrigan has been designated to be the District Governor of District 6450, the birthplace of Rotary (in 1905), from July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021,” emailed Naish Shah, Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of Naperville/Downtown. “Please note that this is a very big deal as the nominating committee has many fine Rotarians to choose from. This is a very, very well deserved appointment for Chuck. I was very proud of Chuck and our club when I heard this news at the District Board meeting last night. He is one of the finest Rotarians I know!”

In 2007, Corrigan became a charter member of the Rotary Club of Naperville Downtown, Naperville’s third of four Rotary Clubs. Corrigan served as the club’s fifth president in 2010-11. Currently, Corrigan is Chair of the District Foundation Committee.

Current Rotary Downtown President Kevin McQuillan added, “Chuck to me is what Rotary is really about. He quietly, efficiently and effectively identifies the issues and applies his wealth of knowledge about Rotary and its Foundation to work out beneficial monetary solutions for grants, donations and the like, as well as people- related solutions. His knowledge of how to leverage a small amount into many multiples is amazing.”

McQuillan said that with any Rotary issue, he turns to Corrigan first for his thoughts and counsel.

“Chuck as District Governor will enable many more to have access to Chuck’s acumen and his striving to make the world a better ‘Rotary place’.”

Professionally, Corrigan is a partner with the law firm of Dommermuth, Cobine, West, Gensler, Philipchuck, Corrigan & Bernhard, Ltd., in Naperville.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Corrigan received a degree in Economics from Georgetown University (B.A., 1983) and his law degree cum laude from The John Marshall Law School (J.D., 1987) in Chicago. Corrigan’s primary areas of concentration include civil litigation, business law and employment law.

For nearly 30 years, Corrigan has been actively involved in the Naperville community, where he resides with his wife, Mary. They have five grown children and three grandchildren.

Corrigan also is president of the West Suburban Irish, Inc., the fun-loving group that hosts the Naperville WSI St. Patrick’s Day Parade in March. He has served as president of the DuPage Symphony Orchestra and as a member of the Naperville Riverwalk Commission.  His leadership also has been recognized as President of the Naperville Jaycees as well as  Executive Director of Naperville’s Last Fling.
