Bill Jacobs holding food drive this holiday season to benefit Loaves & Fishes

-

The Bill Jacobs Auto Group, at its Naperville dealerships, is holding a food drive to benefit Loaves & Fishes Community Services through December 31.

Loaves & Fishes Community Services provides food and support to families and individuals within Naperville and surrounding DuPage County.  With a vision to end hunger in the community, they empower people to become self-sufficient.

Bill Jacobs BMW, MINI and Volkswagen in Naperville will be collecting non-perishable food items.  Items selected should be commercially packaged in cans or unbreakable containers. Consider donating healthy, low-fat and low-sugar products that families are sure to appreciate and enjoy.

Items that should be avoided include open or used items; foods in rusty unlabeled and damaged containers; outdated items; homemade canned goods and anything re-packaged; alcoholic beverages; and prescriptive medical supplements.

Do your part this holiday season and help to end hunger in the community by dropping off food items at any of the Naperville Bill Jacobs dealerships.

The Naperville Bill Jacobs dealerships are located along Aurora Ave. at the following addresses: BMW, 2495 Aurora Ave.; MINI, 2491 Aurora Ave.; and Volkswagen, 2211 Aurora Ave.

An ombudsman is Scandinavian in origin dating back to Viking times; and refers to a community representative; usually acting independently on behalf of an organization, body of elected officials, or civic group. Thanks Scandinavia for inventing ombudsman.
