It’s ‘Pink Month’ at Bill Jacobs Auto Group

-

Through the end of October, the Bill Jacobs Auto Group will be raising monetary donations in support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to support the fight for a cure.

Bill Jacobs BMW, MINI and Volkswagen in Naperville, in addition to Bill Jacobs Land Rover in Hinsdale, will donate funds to support the fight for the cure from every test drive driven by current and potential customers through the end of the month.

There has been a significant increase in the breast cancer survival rate over the past 30 years due to early detection, screening, awareness and funds raised for research and treatment.

According to the Center for Disease Control, breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women, besides skin cancer. In 2014, nearly 237,000 women were diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States. The majority of cases are found in women over 50 years of age.

The Bill Jacobs staff will also be showing their support by wearing pink ribbons, bracelets and ties hoping to meet their fundraising goals.

The Naperville Bill Jacobs dealerships are located along Aurora Ave. at the following addresses: BMW, 2495 Aurora Ave.; MINI, 2491 Aurora Ave.; and Volkswagen, 2211 Aurora Ave. Bill Jacobs Land Rover is located at 300 E. Ogden Ave. in Hinsdale.
