Naperville, Illinois – October 4, 2017 / Gerald Auto Group of Naperville and North Aurora, encompassing Gerald Hyundai, Gerald Kia, Gerald Nissan and Gerald Subaru, has named Little Friends beneficiary of its radio promotion with WGN and the Chicago Blackhawks.

During the 2017-2018 hockey season, which begins on Thursday at United Center, Gerald Auto Group will donate $100 to Little Friends for every Blackhawks’ goal scored.

Mike Briggs, Little Friends’ President and CEO stated, “Gerald Auto Group and the Gerald Family have a long and dedicated history of philanthropy, including several generous gifts to Little Friends. This is just another example of Gerald Auto Group supporting our mission of empowering children and adults with special challenges, and their families, to live fulfilling lives in their communities. We couldn’t be more excited to have their support!”

Gerald Auto Group has been serving the Chicago area since 1938 and Naperville, specifically, since 1981. With seven locations between Naperville and North Aurora, the auto group believes in making meaningful contributions that impact the local community.

Doug Gerald, President of Gerald Auto Group, believes Little Friends is one of those locally impactful organizations. He added, “Little Friends is an organization that does so much good for an underserved population. The number of individuals with autism is greater than most likely realize, but the number of
people – the families and caregivers – impacted by autism is even greater than that.”
