‘Toasting for a Cause’ supports families in need

Above / Catch 35 Naperville will partner with Loaves & Fishes to host ‘Toasting for a Cause’ on Mon., Nov. 13, 2017. Catch 35 is located at 35 S. Washington Street in downtown Naperville.

Loaves & Fishes and Catch 35 Naperville are thrilled to announce their partnership to host Toasting for a Cause from 6:30PM to 9:30PM on Mon., Nov. 13, 2017. The event will raise funds to benefit services provided at Loaves & Fishes for families in need.

“Catch 35 Naperville is well-known for their outstanding food and wine offerings in addition to their enjoyable ambiance,” said Loaves & Fishes CEO Mike Havala. “We are excited to be hosting Toasting for a Cause at Catch 35 and are grateful for their generous support as well as that of Taste America Restaurants.”

“We are excited to offer an exquisite food and wine event in partnership with Loaves & Fishes,” said Carl Jensen, Director of Operations for Taste America Restaurants. “The menu features the ‘Best Of’ previous Catch 35 Wine Dinner dishes highlighting the autumn season as well as opulent and robust wines from the French and California wine regions, Napa Valley and the Russian River Valley. We are looking forward to this unique dining experience at Catch 35 Naperville.”

Appetizer and 4-course meal served with complement of fine wines

Crème Brulee with black cherries and a butter cookie will be served with Emeritus, Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley, CA, 2014.

Guests will enjoy a passed appetizer of Smoked Whitefish Shmear on toasted sourdough bread served with Villaviva, Cotes de Thau, Rose, France 2016.  The four-course meal includes: First course – Roasted Butternut Squash Salad with prosciutto, arugula, cave aged blue cheese, truffle oil and olive oil served with Hess, Allomi Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, CA, 2014; Second course – Chilean Seabass, cannellini beans, chorizo, lemon and parsley served with Hall, Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley, CA, 2015; Third course – Dry Aged New York Strip with marrow bone, parsnip mashed potatoes, smoked caviar and au jus served with Raymond, Reserve Selection, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, CA, 2014: Fourth Course – Crème Brulee with black cherries and a butter cookie served with Emeritus, Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley, CA, 2014.

Reservations are $150 per person; $90 of each ticket goes directly to support Loaves & Fishes and is tax deductible. Seating is limited to 125 for this exclusive event.
