Little Friends will showcase school programs during open houses on Oct. 11

Above / From 9:30AM to 1:30PM, Oct. 11, Little Friends is set to host open houses at three of its schools, including Krejci Academy located at 619 E. Franklin Avenue in Naperville.

No matter what their learning style, students at Little Friends’ Krejci Academy learn what they need to live in our community.

Naperville, Illinois –  Little Friends will host an open house at each of its three schools from 9:30AM to 1:30PM on Wed., Oct. 11, 2017.

The open house is appropriate for school district administrators, teachers, mental health professionals, college students pursuing careers in education and/or psychology and prospective parents and guardians of children with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Bridge High School, Krejci Academy and Mansion High School will be open and accessible for tours and to learn about programs and services. There will also be opportunities for Q&A sessions with school staff.  Attendees are encouraged to visit any of the three programs and move to the others throughout the day.

Bridge High School

Each student has the right to work, learn, play and experience the joy of life’s everyday moments. At Bridge High School, our experts prepare students for a life of independence and exciting opportunity. We tailor student’s education to their needs, their challenges and their pace, so they can learn invaluable work skills and habits that will stay with them for life. More than 80 percent of our students participate in vocational community experiences at our worksites, and many remain employed through their adult life.

Krejci Academy

A fulfilling life reaches far beyond classroom walls, and so should a student’s education. At Krejci Academy, we teach the skills students need to live in our community. Our therapeutic environment adapts to their needs, whether the student is mastering basic life skills or studying more traditional academics. Regardless of learning style, we teach community integration to every student.

Mansion High School

For students with emotional disabilities, traditional schooling may be stressful, frustrating and ineffective. Mansion High School is different. Students will flourish in our therapeutic academic environment, where a caring staff tailors lesson plans to their needs.
