Learn about old Naperville, and see the new Naperville. This one-hour Historic Tour of Naperville blends the past with the present, highlight’s Naperville’s growth, and includes some fun stories. Meet at the ‘Trolley Stop’ on Jackson Ave. at Eagle Street by 10:50AM. $16 per person, all ages. Naperville Wine Festival – 5PM | $35-$50
Naper Settlement – 523 S. Webster St Naperville, IL 60540
A celebration of wine, beer, food, music and friends. The festival provides an opportunity to sample from more than 300 wines from around the world. Learn about new and exciting varieties from the experts in a relaxed festival setting. Wine seminars and cooking demonstrations are conducted by event sponsors, exhibiting wineries, area chefs and restaurateurs. Some of the area’s best restaurants and caterers will sell their signature dishes. Live music will be performed on the festival stage. This event takes place RAIN or SHINE Friday and Saturday. Mayor’s PAR-TEE – 19th Hole  / 5:30PM | Sold out!

Mayor’s PAR-TEE-19th Hole will feature a fun, casual night planned with live entertainment, golf-themed activities and amazing food from many favorite Naperville restaurants— all for charity to benefit Turning Pointe Autism Foundation, YMCA, DuPage Children’s Museum, Edward Foundation Kids Care, 360 Youth Services, KidsMatter, Hesed House and SamaraCare. Live music will be performed by Thirsty Boots. Seating is limited to 250.

Naperville residents who enjoy recreational fishing can find a spot right here in Naperville with 19 parks that offer fishing in stocked ponds, streams or rivers. Anyone looking for bait will find a selection at Dog Patch Pet & Feed located at 1108 E. Ogden Avenue. Even a great blue heron at May Watts Park knows the patience of fishing for a good catch.

Come hear the music in the Labor Day Parade, 10:30AM Mon., Sept. 4!  Now that the Thursday summer concert season is a fond memory, the Naperville Municipal Band’s tradition since 1859 of marching in parades welcomes everybody to be a spectator on Labor Day. Naperville loves its parades!

Naperville Firkin Beer Fest at CityGate Centre is set for 3PM to 6:30PM Sat., Sept. 9. The inaugural event will bring more than 30 rare, one-of-a-kind Firkins from breweries around Illinois and the Midwest, along with some of their best brews and more than 60 craft beers and hard ciders. Live entertainment and cuisine from popular local food trucks will top off the afternoon designed for craft beer enthusiasts.

Free Enterprise Forum of Naperville in association with the Bastiat Society will present “Greed, Competition, Profit: The Morality of Free Markets” with Stephen Hicks from 6-8PM on Thurs., Sept. 28, 2017. After networking, program starts at 6:30, hosted at Colbert Custom Framing & Art Printing, 1283 S. Naper Blvd. Hicks is a Professor of Philosophy and Executive Director, Center for Ethics and Entrepreneurship, at Rockford University. Public welcome. Seating is limited. RSVP at www.fefnaper.org.

Witches Night Out Naperville is a new “women helping women” event hosted by the Naperville Woman’s Club, also at Naper Settlement.
