Learn about old Naperville, and see the new Naperville. This one-hour Historic Tour of Naperville blends the past with the present, highlight’s Naperville’s growth, and includes some fun stories. Offered most Fridays, departing at 11AM thru August. Meet at the ‘Trolley Stop’ on Jackson Ave. at Eagle Street by 10:50AM. $16 per person, all ages. “All the world’s a stage,” even along the Riverwalk, when the 13-member cast performs the Midsummer Shakespeare Troupe’s production of “As You Like It.” ICYMI, the play continues in Geneva at 6PM on Saturday.

Members of the Naperville Riverwalk Commission and Riverwalk Foundation will dedicate a commemorative garden as a tribute to Cliff Preston for more than 35 years of service to the City’s natural treasure as well as his CAN-DO spirit throughout the community. The brief ceremony was hosted by the Riverwalk Foundation with appreciation to the Naperville Park District and Monica Goshorn-Maroney of Gary R. Weber Associates, Inc. who designed the garden. Come hear the music! The Naperville Municipal Band plays on from the stage of the Community Concert Center during its summer concert series at 7:30PM every Thursday until Aug. 17. Enjoy the bake sale in the gazebo and be sure to pick up a numbered program to play a part in the weekly raffle. The free concerts welcome everybody to Central Park!

Summer Place Theatre presents Anything Goes, weekends July 28 thru Aug. 6. A Cole Porter classic, Anything Goes is a love story, a crime drama, and a wild comedy all in one with musical favorites including “You’re the Top,” “I Get a Kick Out of You,” and, of course, “Anything Goes.” Tickets are $10 for children, $15 for seniors and students, and $20 for adults. Experience the fun at Naperville Central High School at 7:30PM July 28, July 29, Aug. 4, Aug. 5.
