A unique leadership camp for youth

-

I have been participating, staffing, and leading in leadership programs all over the U.S. From these experiences I learned the value of confidence and positivity, so I wanted to launch this initiative to bring the lessons I learned to the local area kids.

IWMI Leadership camp offers a unique opportunity for kids and young adults to learn the strategies and techniques to thrive. “You can do whatever you believe in” and “If you believe in yourself, everything is possible” are common phrases used in our society.  But how?

IWMI teaches practical and proven techniques to empower youth to own their destiny. Our counselors believe that self-esteem, self-belief and a drive to succeed are the keys to living a positive life. These keys unlock the importance of an open mindset, a positive outlook, passion, and creativity. Oftentimes passion is born out of creativity, and it takes self-esteem, and self-belief for one to motivate themselves. This motivation turns into determination which is powerful when lined with a positive outlook and an open mind.

IWMI trains students to be independent thinkers by using a variety of thought-provoking activities to channel discussions. Each day is comprised of lessons, and thought provoking fun activities. Students are put into a new group each day so they learn how to work with many personalities.

For one week the cost of $213 includes snacks and t-shirts. We run from 9AM – 2PM in June. For more information, visit www.iwmileadershipcamp.com and sign your child up today.

PN Ombudsman
An ombudsman is Scandinavian in origin dating back to Viking times; and refers to a community representative; usually acting independently on behalf of an organization, body of elected officials, or civic group. Thanks Scandinavia for inventing ombudsman.
