Naperville Police investigate vehicular hijacking

Naperville PoliceAt approximately 10AM on Tuesday, April 18, Naperville Police Officers responded to the 0-100 Block of Testa Drive for the report of a robbery.

Upon arrival, officers encountered the victim, a 61-year-old man from Naperville, who reported that a male subject had approached him, pointed a handgun at him, and demanded his vehicle. The suspect took the vehicle, a blue 2007 Toyota Corolla with the license plate V265067.

The suspect then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle and was last seen traveling southbound on Testa Drive. The victim was uninjured. The suspect is described as a male black in his 20’s, thin build, dressed in all black, with a black mask.

Officers have disseminated the information to other Naperville units and surrounding local law enforcement agencies. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Naperville Police Department at (630) 420-6666.
