Let freedom ring!

Congratulations to Kennedy Junior High School! The walls are now graced with the Freedom Shrine, a historical tribute to freedom presented by the Exchange Club of Naperville early on Friday, Nov. 11, during an all-school assembly.

Members of the Exchange Club of Naperville Americanism Committee joined local veterans, Lisle Mayor Joseph Broda, school officials and students to dedicate a Freedom Shrine at Kennedy Junior High School in School District 203 on Veterans Day.

(The Freedom Shrine that is presented on the exterior wall at the Municipal Center first arrived in Naperville in 1994. Find the City’s outdoor Freedom Shrine every day near the September 11 Memorial along the Riverwalk.

“We had a very nice Freedom Shrine Dedication on Veterans Day at Kennedy Junior High School,” said photographer Jim Hoch.  “The kids were fantastic, and it was nice to be linked in with their Veterans Day Program at the school.”

Thanks again to all Veterans who contribute to protect our freedoms and our safety every day.

Frankie’s Blue Room – 16 W Chicago Ave Naperville, IL 60540
Just Coyotes are a Chicago-based alternative country band. An amalgam of roots music in traditions that make up the American musical ethos. Our sound is merged from folk, country & rhythm and blues. Just Coyotes style developed in 2011 as a reaction to the highly polished sound that defined the mainstream music of that genre. As a band, they were not interested in the current commercial format of country music, so they crafted their sound in a traditional ‘Americana’ style. Just Coyote’s music incorporates elements of various American roots music styles, including country, roots-rock, folk, bluegrass, R&B and blues, resulting in a distinctive roots-oriented sound that lives in a world apart from the pure forms of the genres.
