Last Fling main stage tickets now on sale

The BoDeans, Toad the Wet Sprocket and Rusted Root, will perform on Sat., Sept. 3, on the Main Stage at the 2016 Last Fling.

The BoDeans will headline at 8:30PM. Toad the Wet Sprocket will perform at 6:30PM and Rusted Root will perform at 4:30PM as opening acts on the Last Fling Main Stage, located at the base of Rotary Hill near Naperville’s famed Riverwalk.

In 1986, Toad the Wet Sprocket formed in California and consists of lead singer Glen Phillips, guitarist Todd Nichols, bassist Dean Dinning and drummer Randy Guss. From 1989-1998, the band made five studio albums which sold over four million copies combined, had five major radio hits.

Having collaborated for two decades, Rusted Rood has honed the perfect combination of musical intuition, freedom and virtuosity, which has allowed them to organically shape their music into its own distinct and undeniable vision. With eight albums under their belt, over three million records sold and countless nights on the road, Rusted Root transcends age, cultures and musical styles.

General public Main Stage early bird tickets are on sale through July 4, $25 for General Admission and $35 for Pit Passes.

From July 5, through Sept. 2, tickets will be $35 for General Admission and $45 for Pit Passes. Tickets are available at www.LastFling.org.

The 5th Annual Summerland Tour will perform on Sunday, Sept. 4.

The Summerland Tour, previously heralded by Rolling Stone as one of the “10 Hottest Summer Package Tours,” includes Sugar Ray, Everclear, Lit and Sponge.

Formed in 2012 by Art Alexakis, lead guitarist and vocalist of Everclear, the Summerland Tour has featured notable nostalgic alternative rock bands such as Soul Asylum, Eve 6, Space Hog, Gin Blossoms, Marcy Playground, Live, Fuel, American HiFi, The Toadies and Filter.

“This is the kind of line up I’ve dreamed of when I started the Summerland Tour,” Alexakis said. “We kicked it off with Sugar Ray for the first year, so it feels great to have band join us for the 5th Anniversary. We love Lit & Sponge and cannot wait to share the stage with them. This lineup is stacked and this summer is going to be an adventure.”

Sugar Ray will perform at 8:30PM, Everclear at 6:30PM, Lit at 5PM and Sponge at 3:30PM on the Last Fling Main Stage.

Main Stage early bird tickets are on sale now through July 4 – $25 for General Admission and $35 for Pit Passes.
From July 5 through September 4, tickets will be $35 for General Admission and $45 for Pit Passes.

Carillon Experience tickets, which can be purchased for $125 per seat, allow for a memorable experience to include a catered multi-course meal, complimentary beverages, snacks, access to front of stage during the performance and a potential Meet & Greet with the bands (subject to availability).

Labor Day, Sept. 5

Eleven-time Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Jamey Johnson and Chicago’s very own country super group, Hillbilly Rockstarz, will play the Main Stage this Labor Day.

Jamey Johnson is one of only a few artists in the history of country music to win two Song of the Year Awards from both the CMA and ACMs. In addition, Jamey won two Song of the Year Trophies for “Give It Away” and “In Color,” both from the Academy of Country Music and the Country Music Association.

Hillbilly Rockstarz specialize in covering the latest hits in country music, along with many classic favorites, while always staying true to the original recording. The band covers songs by artists like Blake Shelton, Little Big Town, Carrie Underwood and Darius Rocker while also transcending time with classics by Johnny Cash, Willie, Waylon and Patsy Cline.

Jamey Johnson will perform at 6PM with Hillbilly Rockstarz performing at 2:30PM. Main Stage early bird tickets are on sale now through July 4, $20 for General Admission and $30 for Pit Passes. From July 5 through Sept. 5, tickets will be $30 for General Admission and $40 for Pit Passes.

Military Veterans are welcome free on Rotary Hill and within the Sponsor’s Tent on Monday, with proper military identification. Carillon Experience tickets, which can be purchased for $125 per seat, allow for a memorable experience to include a catered multi-course meal, complimentary beverages, snacks, access to front of stage during the performance and a potential Meet & Greet with the bands (subject to availability).
