Pet Words of Wisdom – Adopt and rescue

-

I’ve been involved in the rescue community for nearly six years. As I continue to become more immersed in this world I find myself drawn in two different directions.

I am so completely wowed by the commitment and dedication involved by countless people and that provides such hope for me in my fellow man and the prospects for animal’s lives to be improved everywhere.

At the same time, I am dumbfounded by man’s cruelty to animals and its disregard for the well being of the animal’s they take into their care. This situation creates a devastating number of animals in need at all times. It is difficult to not become discouraged.

I long for more space to be able to take in more animals in need, but also know that there is no such thing as enough. I am consoled by the fact that we are doing our part to help and that will just have to be enough. You can help by adopting instead of shopping for a puppy at a pet store. Dog Patch is proud to be adopting out many dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.

Summer is in full swing here at Dog Patch.

Koi and pond plants are plentiful in our yard. Outdoor toys for dogs are flying out of here.

Wild bird seed continues to be a great value with a 10 percent every day senior discount on all wild bird seed.
Adoptions are going strong.

Our displays feature new dog foods here to be explored and, of course, we have many great animals for you to meet.

Stop in and say hello. Thank you as always!
