Exchange Happenings – What’s new at 2016 Ribfest?

-

Ribfest is set to take place on July 1-4 in Knoch Park. Besides enjoying wonderfully smoked and grilled ribs, and enjoying outstanding entertainment such as 3 Doors Down, Sheryl Crow, Lee Brice and Gin Blossoms, a few additional attractions will welcome patrons this year.

New this year will be entertainment on the Naperville Park District’s Show Wagon in the north park. Guitar solo artists Rick Sniegowski of Lime Forest, Aaron Smith and Eric Zimmerman will be performing. The McNulty Irish Dancers, Anand Dance and the School of Performing Arts will showcase their students. Another fun group sure to attract a crowd are the Naperville Pickers.

Back again this year are reserved tickets right in front of the stage. The Front of House reserved tickets include patron access to all Ribfest activities for one day and entrance to the Front of House Reserved area closest to the bands playing on the main stage.

And as in the past, the Family Area is filled with fun activities for the children. There will be a petting zoo, inflatables, a magic show and Nathan’s hot dogs. The Family Area is sponsored by Naperville Bank and Trust.

Ribfest is the Exchange Club’s major fundraiser that gives money back to the community for the prevention of child abuse and domestic violence. Stop by the Information Booth to learn more about Exchange.

The Exchange Club meets on the first and third Fridays at noon at Hugo’s Frog Pond. We welcome your interest in our club as we’re always seeking new members who embrace our mission.
