There are quite a few people that make Naperville and the surrounding areas their home, and many of them are musicians with extensive experience in the music industry. One of those musicians is Adam Krier, a person you should know.
Adam Krier found fame as the singer/guitarist for Lucky Boys Confusion, the rock/ska/punk/pop/hip hop band he started in 1997. Over the years, the band has had their music featured in commercial advertisements as well as radio airplay. With nine records, including two for Elektra Records, the band has stood the test of time.
But, aside from his position in Lucky Boys Confusion, Krier is also a member of AM Taxi, a side project he started in 2007. Like Lucky Boys Confusion the band has garnered major label attention and their debut, We Don’t Stand A Chance, was released on Virgin Records in 2010. The band will be releasing a new set of music entitled Semi-Confessional this month. Krier’’s experience with major record labels and extensive touring schedules makes him someone who knows the ins and outs of the music business.
In August of last year, Krier had an opportunity to play a gig with local legends Urge Overkill. As if being on a bill with Naked Raygun, Hall Of Fame rockers Cheap Trick, and Foo Fighters wasn’t enough, Krier found himself in front of more than 30,000 people at Wrigley Field. We all have our bucket lists, but it looks like Adam Krier is going to need to draft another one.
