-

The Naperville Jaycees announced today the 5th Annual Summerland Tour will perform at the 51st Last Fling on Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016. The Summerland Tour, previously heralded by Rolling Stone as one of the “10 Hottest Summer Package Tours,” includes Sugar Ray, Everclear, Lit and Sponge.

Formed in 2012 by Art Alexakis, lead guitarist and vocalist of Everclear, the Summerland Tour has featured notable nostalgic alternative rock bands such as Soul Asylum, Eve 6, Space Hog, Gin Blossoms, Marcy Playground, Live, Fuel, American HiFi, The Toadies and Filter.

With tremendous excitement towards this year’s Summerland Tour, Alexakis said, “This is the kind of line up I’ve dreamed of when I started the Summerland Tour. We kicked it off with Sugar Ray for the first year, so it feels great to have band join us for the 5th Anniversary. We love Lit & Sponge and cannot wait to share the stage with them. This lineup is stacked and this summer is going to be an adventure.”

Sugar Ray will perform at 8:30PM, Everclear at 6:30PM, Lit at 5PM and Sponge at 3:30PM on the Last Fling Main Stage, located at the base of Rotary Hill near Naperville’s famed Riverwalk.

Main Stage early bird tickets are on sale now through July 4 – $25 for General Admission and $35 for Pit Passes.

From July 5  through September 4, tickets will be $35 for General Admission and $45 for Pit Passes. Carillon Experience tickets, which can be purchased for $125 per seat, allow for a memorable experience to include a catered multi-course meal, complimentary beverages, snacks, access to front of stage during the performance and a potential Meet & Greet with the bands (subject to availability).

Tickets are available for purchase online at www.LastFling.org.
