Boys Basketball: Naperville North narrowly escapes Glenbard North

A little sluggish in its return to the court after a runner-up finish at the Jack Tosh boys basketball tournament, Naperville North was on the brink of being upset Friday night.

But the Huskies’ sophomore center wouldn’t let them lose.

Scoring 10 points in the fourth quarter, including the game-winning three-point play with 10 seconds remaining, Chris Johnson led Naperville North to a 44-42 victory over Glenbard North in the DuPage Valley Conference contest.
