North Central College welcomes Jim Brickman, one of the most successful instrumental pop pianists of the last three decades, on Feb. 6, 2016.
The “Jim Brickman Live in Concert” performance begins at 8PM Saturday, Feb. 6, in the College’s Wentz Concert Hall at the Fine Arts Center, 171 E. Chicago Ave.

Brief Bio of Jim Brickman
Brickman has revolutionized the sound of solo piano with his pop-style instrumentals and star-studded vocal collaborations. Music lovers will experience the sounds of the award-winning hit-maker, pianist and recording artist in one of the most entertaining and romantic concert events of 2016.
Brickman’s engaging stage presence seamlessly blends mood and music to touch hearts in a special way, letting fans’ imaginations take them wherever they want to go. With dazzling piano and vocal collaborations, Brickman wows audience members with his hits, including “Valentine,” “If You Believe,” “Love of My Life” and more. “Jim Brickman Live in Concert” strikes the perfect balance between musical intimacy, compelling storytelling and audience interaction.
He has performed internationally and in more than 125 cities across the United States, including shows at Carnegie Hall and the White House. His signature style has brought him two Grammy nods, four Gold albums and 30 charted adult radio hits. Brickman received top honors with two Songwriter of the Year Awards from the Society of European Stage Authors and Composers, a Canadian Country Music Award and a Dove Award presented by the Gospel Music Association.
